Behind the Scenes with a Commissioned Biker Portrait
I’ve been shooting my vertical and horizontal panels for a long time now and most of you have seen them in person at my many gallery openings and art shows. There’s another special project that I’ve been working on that you may not yet know about — I’ve been creating one-of-a-kind commissioned biker portraits and then presenting them in my signature vertical format. So far, these have been very well received by my clients and I can’t wait to see where this takes me and what bikes I’ll be shooting next.
I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was 14 years-old. I’ve been on every back street and alley in Paris on my vintage Suzuki 550 GT three cylinder two-stroke and needless to say, these memories are very special to me. Fast forward a few decades and I feel somewhat of a kinship to those who still share my passion.
My latest client asked for a sitting with his custom Harley Davidson — I found this beautiful abandoned warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles as the setting and I’m really looking forward to sharing the final image with you. Until then, enjoy these images of me (and my client) in action.
